Margacipta embarked on global marketing campaign supported by the Indonesian Export Development Council (BPEN) in 1990. After launching regionally in Singapore and Hong Kong, the MC® label started appearing in Australia, Western Europe and the Middle East. By the start of the new millennium, Margacipta had established its reputation as world-class manufacturer in the SE Asian Market. To meet growing demand, MC® began rigorous quality & service improvements, increasing production capacity at its Tangerang facility to support management’s goals “to become the leading manufacturer of cell cast acrylic sheet in the world”.
As new customers discovered Margacipta’s great quality, responsive customer service team and a production process that puts the customer first, 2007 saw a major upgrade to a semi-automatic, 4-line production system. Finally in 2012, a sixth production line was added giving Margacipta an annual production capacity of 30,000 MT. System Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise a project’s systems engineering events as performed by the technical team
- Monitor, organize, and manage a project’s tasks
- Assess and calculate the technical features of a project plan to ensure that the systems engineering procedures are operating correctly
- Implement and maintain the computer systems so they are compliant with the organization’s guidelines or SOP (Standards Operating Procedure)
- Monitor and manage all installed systems and infrastructure
- Establish, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Evaluate existing systems and provide technical direction to IT support staff
- Oversee the development of customized software and hardware requirements
- Plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency
- Formulate and design the security system to maintain data safety
- Focus on workflows, optimization methods, and risk management tools for given projects
- Oversee the availability of technical resources
- Maintain and supervise inventory
- Ensure a rapid response to any technical issues
- A chief systems engineer confirms that the system strictly achieves a project’s requirements and that a proper systems engineering method is being practiced
Job Qualifications:
- Performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX)
- Cloud experience, especially in AWS (Amazon Web Service)
- Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)
- Network experience (e.g., TCP/IP)
- Application development and systems software
- Proficiency in VMware associated programs and coding languages, such as Windows Server, MS IIS, SAN architecture, WebSphere, Citrix, Python, and C++
